Kachori Recipe

Ingredients
  

INGREDIENTS FOR DOUGH

  • 500 gm Flour
  • 60 ml Oil
  • 60 gm Clarified butter
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Soda
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • Water as required

FOR FILLING

  • 125 gm Mash dal powder 
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 ½ tbsp Red chili crushed
  • ½ tsp All spice powder
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek
  • 1 tsp Crushed coriander
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 50 gm Clarified butter

Instructions
 

FOR DOUGH

  • In the flour mix all the ingredients and knead the dough well with water.
  • Leave it for about 15 minutes.

FOR FILLING

  • Heat clarified butter, add cumin and coriander. Once it gets warm add the remaining ingredients.
  • Lastly add mash dal powder gradually. Mix well. Then make balls out of dough, spread well and add filling.
  • Heat clarified butter and deep fry the kachori.
  • Serve hot.
